It would be fair to say that in all development and manufacturing projects, establishing a clear set of requirements and details is paramount to the project’s success. If the scope of the work is not clear from the start or if the vision is cloudy, the final outcome will reflect this. In software development this is certainly the case and our first hand experience has certainly reinforced the message: The clearer the requirements at the start, the more smoothly the project will proceed.
Some clients have extraordinary clarity around their requirements – both in business system terms and in technical terms. They can tell you down to the rarest exception in Mary’s job what may impact on her requirements, and visualise down to the finest detail what will be required for every screen and every report. While other clients only have a general feeling around what they need. Generally speaking, most clients fit somewhere in between these two.
Many clients find it difficult to clarify their needs because they cannot visualise the individual components of their system. They will need to interact with the screen(s) they will be entering data into, the application flow, and the format of the reported output. Our prior education and ongoing experience in software development have reinforced our need to use prototypes wherever possible to help clarify client and user requirements. These prototypes provide not only a visual representation of the final system, but they also provide partially working models that allow users to put hand on keyboard and mouse so they can interact with the various components.
One of the attractive features in using Microsoft® Access as a development environment is the speed with which a prototype or base working model can be prepared. This environment has allowed us to prepare base templates for many of the standard business functions including: customer management, quote & order management, suppliers & supplier orders, employees and timesheets, project & job management, managing meetings.
Where new corporate and/or business systems are required, we believe we can assist you in clarifying your client or user requirements. We have extensive project management and systems analysis experience. We develop primarily in Microsoft® Access and we have prepared a suite of business component templates – all of which allow us to develop on your behalf cost effective and timely business system prototypes.
An IT Professional is a person who is very much familiar and competent in information technology, both the hardware, Computer Networking, Programming and etc. He/ She knows better than a person who is a graduate of a four-year course because most IT Professionals have Master’s Degree and Doctorate Degree in CS and IT.
However, they are not only expert in a certain field but also in business and entrepreneurship particularly in E- commerce.
Many of them are now managers or CEO (Chief Executive Officers) of known companies because of their qualifications and competence in the field of information technology.
Nowadays, IT professionals play a very important role in the community for we are now facing a global challenge. Most of the companies, offices , schools and other areas are now using information technology as their source of information and communication. Without an IT professional present in the company, there is a great possibility that it will not improve and develop because he is the only one who has more knowledge competence in information technology.
In addition, schools and others offices that deal with information technology and has no IT professionals, will not be successful because there is no proper implementations of project. In short, they are implementing it without proper guidance and study of IT expert. The Microsoft, Oracle IBM is a concrete example of a successful company.
Finally, IT professionals are now facing a big challenge for improving information technology now and onward.
When I started to teach in an ICT College, I always see to it that, all of my knowledge as an IT graduate will be shared to the ICT Students. I don’t like the attitudes and behavior of some teachers which is always pretending that they knew everything in ICT, but the fact is, they cannot even present and show to the students their portfolio evidence proving that they had created something that was sold to a certain company or and outputs that they were created.
The common sayings that they have is that ,“They’ve been a programmers for a quite sometimes” , but when the student ask to them regarding their sample programs, they will always say , “AY NA DELETE NA.” , it is not that way when you are motivating students to become a successful programmers someday, but to show to them that you are really a programmer, a competent teacher / trainer that’ is willing to help the students, uplift them and not to make simple things complicated.

IT has finally evolved into something that brings people together. I sure wish I’d be part of the elite IT Group of Kidapawan (whose members are Clint Hassan, Noel Degamo, Kiril Van Aguilar, Jun Andi (CDK), Jun Navarra, and Marlowe Llorito, but that would be grand! Im no IT Expert. So forget that. It’s a nice thought to look up to them, I would partially agree the IT world is dominated by men. I took up Information Technology/Management before, but it was way too heavy for my IQ. Let’s just say its not my cup of tea. The IT jargon? widgets? plug ins? Next topic please. But in time, well, I might consider taking it up seriously. We are all heading towards that direction. In few years time, buying cooking oil for your hotdogs might be put on line, and if you dont join the bandwagon, you’ll be left behind. Buh-bye!
And here, I’ll have to give credit to Mr. Clint, who has been my mentor in Computer Hardware Servicing. He has been extremely patient with my confusing schedule, we were always in the run, coping up with very litle time to take up the lessons but we were able to get by, thank God. Kudos to sir Clint’s patience. On To Noel, HOtDJetc.com has improved tremendously, he has been also been instrumental in realizing this dream project. From choosing the template down to modifying and uploading commercial online ads, what can i say. It’s too early to thank him. There’s so much to do, we’ve just began. All the other guys, I am awed by your briefcases. Those laptop thingy I cant help but wonder, will that time come when I can converse the IT lingo with you? Just a thought, though.
